Lakehead Forestry professors are leaders and pioneers in their fields and well-respected in the forestry sector. Professors and support staff are accessible and dedicated to student success. A few of our forestry research experts include:
 
Dr. Reino Pulkki, R.P.F.
has conducted research on forest operations world-wide, including South Africa, Finland, Italy, and the United States
 
Dr. Ulf Runesson, R.P.F.
  is recognized in North America as well as Ghana and Nepal for his Land Use Planning research with GIS and Remote Sensing tools
 
Dr. Ellie Prepas
is a Canada Research Chair in sustainable Water Management and is known for her research on land-water interfacs
